Fun For All!
You and your friends can take the opportunity to visit shops and areas that may not normally be on your beaten path. Each shop has its own personality and carries different assortments of items.
To Show Camaraderie & Say Thanks!
In what other business will you find would-be competitors joining together to arrange such an artistic project for their loyal customers? Just a way to say thanks for your support, friendship and sharing your love of quilting!
How does it work?
Step 1
Purchase a $5.00 passport from participating quilt shops.
(Includes passport holder and map.)
Step 2
Visit the 14 shops during the Hop (October 6-13). At each shop:
- Receive a free Shop Hop block pattern.
- Have your passport validated.
- Choose to purchase a block kit for the special price of $6.00.
- Take advantage of a special discounted item (different item at each store)!
- Enter in-house drawings for additional chances to win prizes.
Step 3
Return in your completed passport by October 13th to receive a free setup pattern for your Shop Hop quilt and also to participate in the grand prize drawing!
Shop Hopper Rules
1. One passport per person.
2. Participant is responsible for presenting their passport at each shop to be stamped.
3. Participant must be present to get their passport stamped.
4. A completed passport (one with all 14 participating shop stamps) must be turned in to one of the participating quit shops by the close of business on October 13th to be eligible for prizes.
Bus Charter
Fun For All!
A bus has been chartered through BLUEGRASS TOURS for WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 10TH AND THURSDAY, OCTOBER 11TH. THE bus will leave LEXINGTON each day at 8:00AM and return to LEXINGTON each afternoon by 6:00PM or earlier. The bus will take you to the stores in Louisville, LaGrange, Buckner, Elizabethtown, Danville,Dry Ridge, Winchester, Morehead and Mt. Sterling. You will need to get to the Lexington shops on your own. The Lexington shops will stay open until 9:00pm on October 11th to allow the bus passengers to complete the hop in two days.
The fee will be $59.00 per person which includes both days.

Payment in full will be required at time of sign up as we can only accommodate 47 passengers on the bus. So sign up early to reserve your spot. The bus has a restroom and room to store your purchases. You will have at least 45 minutes at each shop along the way. Bring a sack lunch and snacks as there will not be time to stop for lunch along the way.
